Longest Front
A downloadable game for Windows
Realistic World War 2 shooter with bots set on the Eastern Front.
The longest front in World War II was the Eastern Front, which stretched over 1,800 miles (about 3,000 kilometers) from the Arctic Circle in the north to the Black Sea in the south. The conflict on this front was marked by massive battles, harsh weather conditions, and significant casualties on both sides. It was the largest and most brutal theater of war in World War II, involving millions of soldiers and resulting in tremendous loss of life and destruction.

- UEVR profile and script can be found on the flat2vr discord
Controller Support
- Menus don't support controllers yet. As a workaround under Settings->Gamepad you can activate "Move mouse with gamepad".

- Since it uses Unreal Engine 5 it won't work on very old systems.

This is epic
Make a web version, please!
I don't think this would be possible.
Please add gamepad support.
Very nice game i enjoy playing it!
Can you upload it to Gofile?
noooo does this game not have a MacBook Air download?
Can you upload it for Google/Firefox please?
Unfortunately running the game in browser is not possible if that's what you mean. It's due to the game engine and technologies used.
No Like without C++ or what you used to Programm it, more Like Downloadable for Not that good Computers
That's an awesome video! Thanks for making it :)
Can you upload this game file somewhere else?
I've also uploaded it to OneDrive now. Does that work better for you?
nice game
thank you
I pull the quality to the lowest, the average is only 50 frames, and pull the quality to the highest, average only 20 frames
Thanks for checking the framerate :) The game is built with Unreal Engine 5 which uses some new technologies which are very heavy on the frames. On high Lumen global illumination and virtual shadow maps are activated. It looks great, but is really heavy even on the newest GPUs. On low Nanite is still activated which allows using super high poly models and makes developing a lot easier since you don't have to pay attention to poly counts. Considering that the frame rate is not bad for a 1050. With some luck the performance will increase when Unreal Engine is optimized further. It's still very new and not used in many games yet. But I'll still investigate what can be optimized in gameplay code, already have some ideas.
GTX1050ti 8gb I don't think my configuration problem, but even if I pull the quality to the lowest, the frame number is still not stable
At the start the frame rate might be unstable because of the bots spawning in. I'll try making the bots spawn less quickly which should reduce those hitches. I'll also do some testing to find other events that may be causing frame hitches.
I appreciate the game, because I am very fond of the second world war games, but when I'm playing the game off the frame is very serious, I hope can be optimized
Hey rinixianren, thanks for testing the game :) Would you mind sharing your system specs and the framerate you are getting? Then I can investigate how to optimize.
