New features:
- Play Seelow as Allies
- You can spawn inside a vehicle
- Updated to Unreal Engine 5.5 so the game gets all the new optimizations and features
- Bots can now climb into and out of trenches thanks to the new NavLinkGenerator in Unreal Engine 5.5
Improvements:
- Squad reinforcements are now selected after being called in
- Minimap now zooms out a bit when in vehicle. This fits better to higher vehicle speed and further gun range compared to soldiers.
- Skirmish game now only starts when player selects a team.
- Global random artillery now reacts to control point changes and is spread out more
Optimizations:
- Now using heads and hands from new optimized Unreal Metahumans from Unreal Engine 5.5
Bugfixes:
- It was possible to give vehicle passengers orders leading to bugs. Now the only order they can receive is dismount.
- Fixed crash related to bots leaving burning vehicle
- Fixed crash related to tracing visibility for enemy
- Vehicles couldn't be commanded to move when attacking enemies
- Fixed using binoculars while in vehicle
- Removed speed of sound delay for now as it often causes crashes
Known Issues:
- DLSS and FSR don't work yet since the plugins are not yet available for Unreal Engine 5.5
- Trees on Seelow have no collision
